It’s that time of year, when the gift list is large and the bills are larger that we again wonder…where does it all go? It seems like there’s a leak in our bank accounts, and we are not alone. The Israelites in the time of Malachi felt the same way. their grain stores would fade away, or crops come in short. Why? Because they neglected God by placing their material goods of more value than giving to God. (Which means they were a lot like us!) When we give to God our first and best – a tenth – we are stating that he is above us, that he is worth more than all the stuff the world has to offer. Listen to “Why God Prospers Us” and learn that we give because he gave.
