This sermon might make you mad. (It's ok, just repent!) Why might it make us mad? Because it is going to challenge you, confront you, and ask you to conform to the gospel of Jesus Christ. God is not God if he cannot challenge you to change.  The change for this week is this: James, brother of Jesus, tells us we cannot cling to favoritism or partiality and be a full follower of Jesus. In today's charged culture, all of those who are on our side are approved, and all who are on the other side are immediately condemned. This, brothers and sisters, is not okay. It is not the message of the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. We must reject partiality in all of it's forms, including being too partial for those on our side.
