We usually go one of two ways: we either think that since we haven’t done ________, (robbed a bank, been a serial liar, or murdered someone, etc.) we really aren’t that bad. Christians understand that isn’t truth. But we sometimes fail to recognize what happens when people are on the other end of the spectrum of sin. When people have robbed banks. Are a serial liar. Have murdered people. That person – most people – think that person really is beyond forgiveness.
Our past sins are not more powerful than God’s redemption.God has deep forgiveness. We are the church, and we must recognize that just as all have sinned, even the deepest darkest sins are not dark enough to fight back God’s glorious light! Sing the songs, listen to the message and be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
