Pointing Students to Jesus
Park Street Youth Ministry exists to reach and disciple youth in Christ. Our aim is to see students saved by the Grace of God, raised up in the likeness of Christ as fully devoted followers of Him and empowered to fulfill the Great Commission in a broken world. At FBC it is our desire to come alongside the family and partner together to instruct our youth, even youth with special needs or disabilities. We look to engage young people in grades 7-12 with the transforming Word of God and the power of His Holy Spirit.
NEXT EVENT: WINTER RETREAT
Sunday Morning Groups
Youth assemble downstairs in the Youth Fellowship Hall following the 9:15 Worship Service where we have a high energy opening, and then they split up into their small groups to study the Word of God.
Sunday Night: Ignite
Come at 5:00 p.m. for a light supper followed by a time of praise and worship led by our Youth Praise Team. The focus of the night is the Bible Study. Often we conclude the night with an activity like Ultimate Frisbee.
Wednesday Night: ReFuel
Students can be dropped off at 6:00. The night begins with a time for hanging out with friends, playing games like: Gaga ball, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, etc. Then we come together for a prayer time and a lesson from the Word. There is often time afterward for more hanging out. This is a great time to come and connect.
In addition to these regular meeting times, we have many special events throughout the year that you can check out on our events page, click “youth” on the category box to the right! (Please note: many activities require parental permission slips to be turned in before students can be allowed to participate. Event pages have all the details.)
